Gîte Rivière basse

Description

In an old farmhouse dating from 1630, (former priory once occupied by monks, hence the inner courtyard) Claudette and Christian offer a warm and picturesque welcome.
The gîte is located on the ground floor and comprises : A large L-shaped room (37 m²) with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a lounge area. The lounge is equipped with a 140/190 sofa bed for two very good quality beds. A 20 m² bedroom with a 160/200 bed.
Another sofa in the living room, also convertible, can also be used as a bed to increase the capacity.
We can also offer you two very spacious guest rooms in our house, which can sleep a further 4 people.
A 13 m² bathroom with shower and WC.
The entrance to the gîte opens directly onto the meadows for the little ones to enjoy, and the garden furniture sits in the shade of the Plaqueminier tree.

Situated in the heart of the Bas Quercy, in a region rich in history, monuments and medieval villages, you can enjoy local and rural tourism (visits, summer events, numerous markets), as well as a variety of activities (swimming, horse-riding, sailing, mountain biking, walking or hiking on the route of Santiago de Compostela). You can also enjoy the local specialities (fruit and gastronomy) and, depending on the season, the weather and our possibilities, we can help you benefit from our local network


At your disposal in the gîte: Cooker with oven, fridge with small freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. Of course all you need to cook. We also have toasters, electric coffee makers, hoovers, kettles, garden furniture and outdoor grills. We have Wi-Fi.

And there's no need to turn on the air conditioning - the 1-metre-wide walls are enough to keep the temperature cool, even in the hottest weather.

Biker welcome, garage, mechanical assistance. Several routes have been identified in our beautiful region. Tents available.

St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims welcome 2 km from the village of Durfort Lacapelette, with transport to and from the route.

Sheets and towels can be provided on request.
