Péniche Gemjo
Description
Welcome aboard the barge Gemjo for a unique experience!
This magnificent 30m long ship, built in the Netherlands in 1893, was carefully restored two years ago by its new owners. Moored at Port Jacques-Yves Cousteau, along the Canal des 2 Mers bike path in Castelsarrasin, this barge offers a soothing getaway combining history and comfort.
Two cabins, with elegant and refined decoration await you:
The Blue Cabin (14 m²) with 1 bed 160x200 modular in 2 beds 80x200, a wardrobe, a storage box, shower, sink and air conditioning. WC outside the cabin for single use of the occupants of the Blue cabin.
The Green Cabin (16 m²) with 1 bed 160x200, wardrobe, storage box, shower, sink, toilet and air conditioning.
A garden furniture is available on the deck to offer you moments of relaxation.
The owners' passion for hospitality is reflected in every detail, especially at breakfast where you can enjoy fresh, local and homemade products.
The Gemjo houseboat, located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Castelsarrasin, is the ideal starting point for discovering the city's restaurants.
Practical side: Bed linen and toilet provided, beds made on arrival, free Wi-Fi, library, cozy lounge and parking on site. Garage by bike or motorcycle.
