Plessage transforms a simple hedge into a dense living fence, acting as a windbreak and providing a source of fodder when pollarded trees are incorporated into it.

What’s more, its density and deep root system limit runoff and soil erosion.

All-day practical workshop. Good physical condition required. Bring a packed lunch, sturdy clothing, boots, gloves, and protective eyewear. If possible, bring a billhook, pruning shears, saw, machete, and Japanese saw.
