Blandine Insler was born in Montauban. She has developed a practice of abstract painting centered on gesture, sensory experience, and the search for a sense of accuracy.
After initially pursuing a career in management, she gradually established an artistic practice rooted entirely in an awareness of the body and a desire to slow down in the face of contemporary trends toward saturation.
Her work is primarily executed on large-scale canvases, often against a white background, where color, texture, and movement structure the space.
Each canvas is the result of a sensory process in which gesture and the economy of means seek a delicate balance between intensity and breathing room.
Based between Tarn-et-Garonne and Brittany, Blandine Insler presents her work in a variety of settings—art venues, heritage sites, healthcare facilities, and businesses—and also develops commissioned projects.
Join us on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the exhibition opening.
