The exhibition features 40 models created based on Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings. It is the largest traveling collection of its kind in the world! These models, created in Belgium, are accompanied by codices and reproductions that allow visitors to explore documents illustrating the work of the Renaissance’s most famous genius.
Based on the most recent historical and scientific knowledge, this exhibition was designed by a multidisciplinary team comprising engineers, historians, graphic designers, and artisans. Set within a grand and dynamic exhibition design, the experience is both fascinating and unique. Never before has such a collection dedicated to the Renaissance master been presented in Tarn-et-Garonne. This multidisciplinary team aims to highlight the latest historical and scientific research published on Leonardo da Vinci. It is gradually bringing to fruition the challenge it set for itself: to update and expand the reconstructions of Leonardo da Vinci’s models in order to deepen our understanding of the Renaissance genius.
