Exhibition | Orientalist

The Culture and Heritage departments of the town of Moissac are organising an exceptional exhibition on Orientalism.

Thanks to the contribution of Mr. Forzy Aimery, this exhibition will highlight a unique collection of paintings from the Orientalist movement. The heart of this exhibition pays tribute to an emblematic place: the Villa Abd-el-Tif, located in Algiers. Founded in 1907, this villa was for several decades the North African equivalent of the Villa Médicis in Rome. Each year, it hosted the winners of the Abd-el-Tif Prize, awarded to promising young artists.
