Under a suspended, sometimes recalcitrant lamp, a moving white ball becomes the center of a universe reduced to essentials. A chair, a candlestick, a few matches, a toaster! Water… and a sizzling speaker playing an old tango.
Léo Rousselet portrays a character who plays with the failures of light and the duration of darkness. Light cuts create suspensions in which the ball seems to freeze, float or disappear. You lose your bearings and are fascinated by this precision mechanism. It’s funny, impressive, poetic and astonishing… Magical! The artist takes us where light meets darkness.
A magnificent performance. A technical feat. And we marvel… We’ve fallen in love with this incredible show, which we first saw at the Marionnettissimo festival in November 2025. Not to be missed!
