Cony is living happily in his forest with his fellow woodland friends. They sing and dance, with only a vague sense of the threat posed by humans—especially those armed with axes…
Bad luck for Cony—he’s been chosen to decorate Millie’s parents’ living room. Uprooted, he finds himself stuck in the middle of a crowd of humans. In that respect, he’s not so different from little Millie, whose family has just moved, leaving her feeling a bit uprooted, too.
For Christmas, Millie doesn’t ask for much. Having friends—that’s all it would take to make her happy. Luckily, she’s not alone: Chiper, a mischievous, multilingual dog, keeps her company.
Aware of her own situation, Millie promises her new pine-tree friend that she’ll put an end to his exile as soon as the holidays are over and take him back to his green homeland. But things take a turn for the worse when she learns that her friend is destined to end up in a bonfire on Boxing Day.
She’ll do everything she can to bring Cony back to the forest, but between a stubborn dog and a rather “clumsy” Christmas tree, the journey won’t be easy!
For all ages / Ages 5 and up
Registration required.
The performance will be followed by a snack!
