Campsite of the Tarn-et-Garonne leisure center

Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave
There are plenty of fishing spots in the Terres des Confluences region, with the Tarn, Garonne and their confluence to choose from, as well as the Canal du Midi and numerous rivers and lakes.
Around the confluence, lovers of nature and tranquillity will easily find a place to cast their line. Here you can fish for catfish, as well as carp, pike, black bass and zander.
The confluence of the Tarn and Garonne rivers covers an area of 440 hectares. A large 50m-wide boat ramp means that any boat can be moored here for leisure fishing.
Sailing and night fishing for carp are permitted throughout the year. All fishing techniques are also permitted all year round: lure fishing, live fishing, etc.
Be sure to check the regulatory dates for predator fishing and the fishing zones that are closed to navigation.
At the leisure centre, you can take advantage of a special family fishing trail (large secure pontoon, fishing shelter). Free activities are organised throughout the summer by the St-Nicolas-de-la-Grave Fishing Association (AAPPMA) and the leisure centre staff to help you discover fishing.
Carp must be released, boat fishing authorised.
Boat fishing authorised:
Catfish and carp anglers will have a great time all along the Tarn from Lizac and the Ste-Livrade dam in Moissac to the Malause bridge (D26 bis). The confluence of the Tarn and Garonne rivers is a must (anchor + top), as is the Garonne canal.
Be sure to check the fishing zones, which are prohibited in Moissac in particular, whether on the Tarn or the canal (Tarn et Garonne fishing guide, page 39).
