Walks and hiking trails

Tarn-et-Garonne is a prime destination for walking enthusiasts, offering a diversity of stunning landscapes and a multitude of routes and paths to explore.

You can take the famous route to Santiago de Compostela on the GR 65, which crosses the Tarn-et-Garonne, walk the Voie Verte along the Garonne canal, or explore the footpaths that wind through orchards and villages. There are also heritage walks in Moissac, Castelsarrasin and Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave.

Vous serez immédiatement séduits par ce décor unique de coteaux, où s'étendent à perte de vue les vergers et vignes de raisin de Chasselas.
Une belle occasion de prendre de la hauteur sur ces paysages et découvrir les plus beaux points de vue comme celui de Boudou.

The Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela

Moissac is located on the Via Podiensis, which starts in Le Puy-en-Velay.
This is the most popular route to Santiago de Compostela.
Moissac is a not-to-be-missed stopover, with its abbey listed by UNESCO as part of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela and its Ville d'Art et d'Histoire (Town of Art and History) label.

Randoland has designed 21 tours for the Moissac-Terres des Confluences Tourist Office near Moissac and Castelsarrasin.
Tours in the villages of Terres des Confluences are suitable for young walkers.

There are also photo rallies for all ages in Moissac, Castelsarrasin and Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave.

Get involved in the quality of your practice sites with Suricate

Suricate allows you to report any problems you encounter while out on the trails.

A signposting error, a faulty sign, a pollution problem, a need for safety measures, a conflict with a landowner or other users... Fill in the form, locate the problem and send it to us. Your report will be processed by the Suricate network run by the National Resource Centre for Nature Sports of the Ministry of Sport.
