This panorama lies just above the confluence of the Tarn and Garonne rivers and the Canal des Deux Mers.
To the west is the charming town of Moissac, while to the east, Auvillar and the magnificent landscapes of the Gers stretch as far as the eye can see. Opposite you is the pretty village of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave.
The icing on the cake is that, when the sky is right, the majestic Pyrenees can be seen on the horizon.

The Calvaire viewpoint in Moissac offers a lovely panoramic view of the town of Moissac: the Tarn, the bell tower of the Abbey of Saint Pierre, the Moulin de Moissac hotel, the Canal des 2 Mers and the countryside with its orchards.

The belvedere at Cordes-Tolosannes offers a breathtaking view of the Garonne and its valley.
You'll be amazed by the scenery: traditional bell towers dotted around, colourful villages, patches of fruit trees, multicoloured fields and brick bridges.
Located just a stone's throw from Belleperche Abbey, this viewpoint is a not-to-be-missed stop-off for a total immersion in the beauty and richness of our region.
Here, the panorama is astonishing.
At your feet is the village of Labourgade, with its orange hues and the traditional picturesque charm of south-western villages.
In the distance, beside the Garganvillar water tower, which was illustrated by Krugel, you can see the Château des Terrides. This lovely panorama invites you to continue your discovery of Montaïn with a walk through the countryside of the Tarn and Garonne.
You've probably wondered how to pronounce the name of the village...
We can help!
Montaïn [mɔ̃taɛ̃] is pronounced "Mon - ta + ain".
The small village of Coutures is a nugget that we'd like to keep secret.
From the top of its little promontory, you'll enjoy strolling through the little village of Coutures: between its church, its water tower painted by Kugel and the covered path.
The path around the village is a picture postcard of the Terres des Confluences landscape.
In the shade of the trees, it's a pleasant spot for a picnic and a photo break!
