Marie-Edmée Séguin was destined for art very early. She studied drawing and painting with Jean-Michel Colignon, professor at the Fine Arts of Amiens. then continued her artistic training in Paris (university of plastic arts, Beaux-Arts ) before becoming artistic director then illustrator. In 1986 the Académie Charpentier asked her to teach. In parallel to these activities, she developed her own work and began to exhibit. Painter, visual artist, she expresses her relationship to the world through different techniques and graphic vocabularies. She alternates figuration and abstraction, with always at the centre her ethical and aesthetic concerns, the dialogue between matter and light and the energy that emanates from it.Marie - Edmee Seguin is a painter who is part of the Association of Street ArtsShe welcomes her students in her workshop in groups of five people maximum. and offers courses in painting, drawing, watercolor, pastel ... Days and hours of the workshop: From July through September, Wednesday through Saturday, 10am-12pm / 2pm-6pm, and Sunday morning, 10am-12.30pm.
