Museum night | Concert : "Romancero Sefardico"
Description
For this European Night of Museums, the cloister is offering a musical evening to plunge you into the world of Judeo-Spanish traditions.
Through the voices and sounds of their many instruments, this quartet of musicians brings to life a forgotten Sephardic repertoire, the ‘romances', sung tales from Sephardic oral and popular traditions. This musical and poetic journey is a veritable dialogue between East and West, taking audiences on a journey from Spain to Turkey and from Morocco to the Balkans.
Laetitia Marcangeli: vocals, cistre, percussion and hurdy-gurdy
Morgan Astruc: Spanish guitar
Timothée Tchang Tien Ling: Arabic percussion
Ivan Zec: ney and kaval
