Motor-home parking in Castelsarrasin
Description
The new motorhome parking area, located on Chemin des Deux Ponts, on the canal and a stone's throw from the city centre, has been in operation since February 17, 2020.
It is open all year round, from January 1st to December 31st, without interruption. Parking is reserved exclusively for motor-homes and caravans. As a result, it is prohibited for any other type of vehicle. A parking lot for light vehicles is located outside the area. The parking area has 24 places. It is equipped with automatic electricity distribution terminals, a water distribution terminal and a drainage area. The entrance is secure, the access road has been completely rehabilitated, with a pedestrian and cycle link allowing the development of intermodality. Parking is limited to 172 hours, i.e. 7 consecutive nights to allow as many people as possible to benefit from the installation.
Paying parking is chargeable:
users are required to pay via the payment terminal which accepts only bank cards.
To note - Pets are accepted, but must be kept on a leash and their owners are required to comply with the regulations.
- Barbecues are authorized with suitable appliances and comply with the standards in force (electric or gas) on the pitches. Open fires of wood or charcoal or other barbecues are strictly prohibited on the motor-home area.
- Users must sort their waste in the appropriate containers available to them on the area.
