Craft and food market

Description

Artisan and producer market in Port Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Catering area, with food-trucks serving a variety of specialities. Concert by the group JEYO, Latin-festive music.
In the midst of the party, he takes us on a journey of mixed and festive tunes, with Franco-Spanish lyrics.

Sunny cumbia, spicy swing, frenzied rumbas, all with a touch of electronica... It's from his roots that he draws the sincerity that characterises his style and personality. A self-taught artist, pianist and engineer by training, for JEYO music is a universal language, a pure vibration.

During 4 years of travelling, from India to Mexico via Brazil and Cuba, it was through music that he integrated into the local population. Away from his landmarks, he saw it as an invitation to open up to others, to dance and to meet. It was during his umpteenth trip around the world that this former engineer discovered his life's mission: to spread his good humour through song.

After this world tour, JEYO found himself in the studio and released his 1st EP "Anti-morosité", accompanied by two colourful videos shot in Colombia, "Abuelo" and "Le camino". Since then, he's been hitting the road and performing live, usually in a trio with drummer Maxime Dormoy (Raspigaous), trumpeter Renaud Gensane (Christophe Maé) and sometimes in a quartet with saxophonist Greg Lampis (Papet J.). Often accompanied by his colourful stage caravan, his music is a crossroads, inspired by the likes of Manu Chao and Zoufris Maracas.
