Fajolles
the ancient beech grove

In the  centre of the village is the attractive parish church of Saint Barthelemy.

Fajolles, (etymolgy fajol: beech grove), its name a reminder of ancient beech groves, was since the 12th century until the Revolution in 1789 a commandery of the Order of the Knights of Malta. The village has the parish church of Saint Barthelemy in the centre of the village.
