Saint-Aignan
inhabited since prehistoric time

On the left bank of the Garonne and to the South-West, Saint Aignan is dominated by its oak woodland and its fruit farming and cereals.

Well located on the river Garonne, the commune abounds with prehistoric sites. There are three sites of Roman villae, the village of Saint Aignan being established on one of them.
